2. Services Description

LKN Cleaning Services provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in Calgary, Alberta, and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Regular residential cleaning
• Commercial office cleaning
• Deep cleaning services
• Move-in and move-out cleaning
• Post-construction cleaning
• Specialized sanitization services

Service availability, pricing, and specific offerings may vary based on location and other factors. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Service Requests

You may request our services through our website, phone, or email. All service requests are subject to availability and confirmation by LKN Cleaning Services.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. You may reschedule your appointment at no charge if done at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made with less notice are subject to availability.

Access to Property

You are responsible for providing access to the property at the scheduled time. If our team cannot access the property due to circumstances within your control, you may be charged the full service fee.

4. Pricing and Payment

Service Fees

Pricing for our services is provided in quotes and is based on factors including property size, service type, and specific requirements. All prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, electronic transfer, and other methods as specified. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Late Payments

Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect services already booked and confirmed.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best service experience, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the property and cleaning requirements
• Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items before service
• Inform us of any hazardous conditions or special concerns
• Ensure pets are secured in a safe area during cleaning
• Provide necessary access to water, electricity, and cleaning areas
• Notify us of any allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products
• Report any issues or concerns within 24 hours of service completion

7. Liability and Insurance

Our Insurance

LKN Cleaning Services maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our employees are bonded for your protection.

Damage Claims

In the unlikely event of damage to your property caused by our negligence, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate all claims and, if found responsible, will repair or replace the damaged item up to a maximum of $500 per incident or the actual value, whichever is less.

Limitations

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear and tear
• Damage to items not properly secured or disclosed
• Damage resulting from improper use of client-provided equipment or products
• Loss or damage to cash, jewelry, or other valuables
• Damage caused by hidden defects in surfaces or materials
• Consequential or indirect damages

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to address any legitimate concerns at no additional charge. This guarantee applies only to the initial service and does not extend to subsequent re-cleans.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Lkn Cleaning Services Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate our relationship with any client at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Abusive or threatening behavior toward our staff
• Non-payment of fees
• Unsafe working conditions
• Fraudulent activity

Clients may terminate recurring services at any time with 48 hours notice.

Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Alberta, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LKN Cleaning Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any interruption or cessation of services
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through our services
• Any errors or omissions in any content

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LKN Cleaning Services, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our services or violation of these Terms of Service.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or public health emergencies.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and LKN Cleaning Services regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
